ECP to review law and order situation in two provinces today
ISLAMABAD- Election Commission of Pakistan has convened a meeting today to discuss law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
Caretaker Interior Minister, Interior Secretary, Chief Secretaries and Inspectors General of both provinces as well as representatives of intelligence agencies have been invited to attend the meeting.
In a separate development, the re-printing of ballot papers in some constituencies would be started after completion of regular printing of ballot papers.
The Commission said re-printing of ballot papers depends on the availability of special security paper as well as capacity of the printing press.
The meeting told that the commission would have no option except to postpone election in such constituencies if special security paper is not available in required quantity.
