The World Muslim Congress (Motamar Al- Alam Al-Islami), which enjoys Consultative Status with the UN in New York through the ECOSOC and UNICEF and observe Status with the Jeddah-based Organisation of the Ialamic Conference (OIC), was founded in an assemblage of eminent leaders from the World of Islam held in Makkah in 1926. World Muslim Congress arranged a side event on 6th November 2024 in the sidelines of the 81st Session of United Nations Committee against Torture. The main topic of the event was prisoners torture and abuse in context of Palestinian prisoners & Guantanamobay Victims of Torture by USA. The speakers of the side event highlighted the U.S. Military abuse of prisoners in guantanamobay prison and Israel military abuse of Palestinian prisoners in Israel prisons.

The speakers of the event included Mr. Mehmet Sükrü Güzel, the founder of the Center for Peace and Reconciliation Studies, a non-profit NGO based in Geneva, Switzerland. He spoke about the issue and highlighted the atrocities and US Military abuse of prisoners and human rights violations in Guantanamo bay and in Palestine. He said that trump election as president will not change the foreign policy based on individual thoughts by Trump. 

Michael Probsting International secretary of the Revolutionary Communist International Tendency (RCIT) spoke about the current situation of human rights violations and torture by Israel in Palestine. He emphasized that without the USA support and support of the European countries it is impossible for Israel to. The current crisis in middle east is certainly one of the most serious in the last half centrury. The Zionist state supported by USA wants to impose another neckbar on the Palestinian people. They want to kill and expel as many Palestinians as possible from their home to the far away places. The genocide by the zoinist state is impossible without the support by USA. Most impotantly it is because of unlimited support by the American imperialism. The USA is sending weapons without bounderies so the Israel can kill without being stopped by Washington. Other powers including European union have their own interests with the Israel. None of them have any commitment to the basic rights of Palestinians and the prisoners. The public of these countries want to impose the bycott of weapons delivery to Israel. They don’t want to arm a genocide state. With Trump becoming President the Natenyahu will be encourage to intensify the genocide in Palestine. He hoped that Palestinian resistance will defeat the Zionist aggression. 

ALTAF HUSSAIN WANI Chairman Kashmir Institute of International Relations highlighted the torture and inhuman conditions of Kashmiri, Palestinians and guantanamobay prisoners. He highlighted the atrocities by Israel and USA about the ongoing torture, abuse, inhuman conditions and denial of basic needs such as food, water and medical care and religious rights to the Palestinian and prisonsers in Guantanamobay. War has gaza has entered into second year and it could lead to the catastrophe. Israeli warplanes bombardment in gaza has killed thousands of Palestinians , forced millions of them displaced from their homes. The infrastructure including has been destroyed. People in Palestine are starving and Israel has stopped the food and medical supply to the Palestinians. 

The powers including USA are supporting the Israel and are not forcing the Israel to stop the war. The public in Western countries is with Palestine while the European countries government leaders are supporting Israel. Trump might not change the policy and might continue to support Israel atrocities in Palestine. Mr. Ahmad Al-Mohammad Vice President of victim de tourture organization and representative of World Muslim Congress said that Israel has been committing genocide in the Palestine. And the World Muslim Congress and the Victim de Tourture supports the Palestinians human rights, liberty, legitimate right to resist the genocide. The people of USA, Europe, France, and all the world stand with the Palestinians for the right to freedom and live and strongly condemn the massacre, oppression and Palestinians genocide by the Israel. We show our solidarity with the people of Palestine for their freedom, the application of the United Nations charter, security council, Geneva convention, and all the conventions of the world, International court of justice ruling. 

The speakers unanimously declared that USA is responsible for the current situation in Middle East.  Also, the USA is responsible for all the major current conflicts in the world. The human rights violation of the prisoners of war held by the Israel and USA in various prisons need attention by the Committee. Iran Israel conflict is happening because of the USA support to Israel atrocities by Netanyahu. the Humanitarian Rights Abuses by the Israel Army backed by USA has been Exposed. The alarming abuses of Palestinians in a secretive detention center, where detainees are reportedly strapped down, blindfolded, and forced to wear diapers. The horrifying reports of the conditions in Sde Taiman include electric shocks, amputations due to bad conditions, severe beatings , surgery without anesthesia, playing loud music until inmates ears bleed, deaths due to bad sanitary conditions, systematic torture and sexual abuse. The horrific actions by the US in Guantanamo Bay, Abu Ghraib, and elsewhere don't excuse Israel's current activities or the US's involvement in them. In fact, the least the US can do is end our ongoing support of atrocities. What happened at Sde Teiman Prison is Worse than Horror Stories This reflects the true nature of Israeli society. We Demand the Closure of Guantanamo & Stop Human Rights Violation & Torture in prisons: Twenty years have passed since the first detainees arrived in Guantánamo Bay, making it the longest-standing war prison in U.S. history.
